Switzerland talks: US officials say negotiations with Iran in Switzerland are ongoing and expected to continue “through the night,” despite President Donald Trump angering Tehran’s top negotiator by threatening the Iranian delegation in a Sunday interview. An Iranian source told CNN earlier that the talks had stalled but were not over.
Trump warns Iran amid talks: In a post on Truth Social, Trump said “Iran must immediately stop their highly paid PROXIES in Lebanon from causing trouble,” adding, “If they don’t, we’ll hit Iran very hard again, just like we did last week, only harder!!!” Meanwhile, US Vice President JD Vance said that Trump is “committed to see a full regional ceasefire,” during the talks. He also said negotiations with Iran had achieved substantial progress and could open the door to broader regional stability.
