Authorities had not released further details at the time of reporting, AP said. Police were investigating the shooting and urged people to stay away from the area.
The Seattle Center was hosting the Bite of Seattle food festival over the weekend when the shooting occurred. The annual festival, which began in 1982, typically draws around 350,000 attendees over what its website describes as three days of food, drink and community celebration.
