Yemen’s military said a Houthi attack on the Red Sea port city of Mocha killed seven people and wounded 30 others, hitting civilian infrastructure and armed forces alike. Russian bomb strikes hit Ukraine’s northern city of Sumy overnight, injuring at least five people. Yemen’s military said four soldiers and three civilians were killed and 30 people wounded in a Houthi attack on Mocha, with air defenses shooting down 11 drones involved in the strike. Footage from Houthi-linked media showed missiles and drones being launched, which a Houthi spokesperson said targeted Saudi troops and weapons depots. Yemen’s military said residential areas were also hit.

In Ukraine, Russian strikes hit Sumy overnight, injuring at least five people and damaging residential areas, officials said.
