World latest updates: Wildfire rages across France, forces evacuations as 200 firefighters battle blaze

Iran’s army ground forces commander, Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi, issued a stern warning to Washington , saying any US ground intervention would face swift, decisive action. He said any American troops entering Iran would be “cut off,” and that Iran would respond to any enemy move with a firm, deterrent response, according to state media.

Footage from Houthi-linked media showed missiles and drones being launched, which a Houthi spokesperson said targeted Saudi troops and weapons depots. Yemen’s military said residential areas were also hit.
