Two Turkish-flagged commercial vessels collided off Istanbul in the Sea of Marmara on Wednesday, Reuters cited the Istanbul governor’s office as saying.
10 crew members were missing in one of the vessel involved in the mishap, the news report said.
Coast guard ships and helicopters were dispatched to the scene for search and rescue. There were no visible damage on one of the vessels, however the authorities were unable to establish contact with 10 crew members on the other vessel.
