PM Narendra Modi Israel Visit Live Updates: Addressing the Knesset, Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned terrorism, saying that no cause can ever justify the murder of innocent civilians. Stressing on India’s firm stand against terrorism in all its forms, he stated that violence against civilians is unacceptable under any circumstances and called for a united global effort to combat the menace. Modi arrived in Tel Aviv on Wednesday afternoon for a two-day state visit aimed at further strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations. He was received by Israel PM Netanyahu and his wife Sara at the airport. This is PM Modi’s second trip to Israel and comes at a moment in the evolving partnership between the two nations. During the visit, both leaders are expected to review the progress made under the India–Israel Strategic Partnership and explore avenues to deepen cooperation across sectors.

What’s on agenda? The discussions are expected to focus on expanding cooperation across key sectors such as science and technology, innovation, defence and security, agriculture, water management, trade and the economy, along with strengthening people-to-people ties. The two leaders are also likely to deliberate on regional and global developments of shared concern. India’s Ambassador to Israel, J P Singh, said the Prime Minister is scheduled to address the Israeli Parliament, the Knesset, later in the day. He noted that Prime Minister Modi will be the first Indian leader to speak before the Israeli legislature. On Thursday, the Prime Minister will meet Isaac Herzog, the President of Israel.
