Delhi Capitals (DC) vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) IPL 2026: Royal Challengers Bengaluru made short work of Delhi Capitals’ 76-run target as they swept the hosts aside in just 6.3 overs as Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal stayed unbeaten. Josh Hazlewood (4/12) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (3/5) combined to take 7 wickets as Royal Challengers Bengaluru wiped out Delhi Capitals for just 75 runs. Delhi batters who had scored 264 in the last match here against Punjab Kings suffered an ugly collapse, going down 8/6 at one point before Abishek Porel tried for a rebuild but in spite if that DC lost all their wickets before crossing 80. Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the toss and opted to bowl first against Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Monday. Delhi Capitals made some changes with Dushmantha Chameera and Kyle Jamieson coming in while RCB are going with the same team.

Delhi’s biggest worry has been their bowling line-up. While they have star bowlers like Lungi Ngidi, Kuldeep Yadav, and Axar Patel, the side has allowed teams to score above 210 on four occasions in their last five games. Adding to Delhi’s concerns is Ngidi’s injury, as he fell on his neck and head while attempting a catch at mid-off during the last game. RCB, meanwhile, march positively towards defending their title. The Rajat Patidar-led side has won five of their seven games this season and sit second in the points table. RCB will also be eyeing to avenge their first-leg loss to Delhi, where the Axar Patel-led DC had beaten them comfortably at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
