IPL 2021, PBKS vs DC Highlights: Delhi Capitals rose to the top of the points table with a comprehensive win over Punjab Kings by seven wickets. Chasing a target of 167, DC got off to a flier with Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw taking on PBKS in the powerplay overs. Dhawan batted through the innings and remained unbeaten for 69. The southpaw also became the leading run-scorer of the tournament getting the orange cap.
Earlier, PBKS were put to bat first after Rishabh Pant won the toss. Mayank Agarwal captained PBKS in the absence of KL Rahul who was diagnosed with acute appendicitis and will undergo surgery. On his captaincy debut, Agarwal remained unbeaten for 99 guiding his team to 166/6. Dawid Malan had an ordinary outing on his IPL debut scoring a run-a-ball 26. Malan replaced an out-of-form Nicholas Pooran.
