SRH vs RR IPL 2026 Eliminator Live Score Updates: Jofra Archer did what he does best by dismissing the dangerous Abhishek Sharma in the second over and then ending Ishan Kishan’s onslaught before it caused too much damage to the Rajasthan Royals in the Eliminator of the 2026 IPL. SRH are chasing a target of 244, which RR set largely thanks to an astonishing display of power-hitting by the young Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.
Sooryavanshi set the ball rolling in such spectacular fashion that RR crossed 200 inside 15 overs. However, Sunrisers Hyderabad then did well to pull RR back and restrict them to a score of 243/8 in 20 overs. After Sooryavanshi fell on 97 off just 29 balls, Dhruv Jurel kept up RR’s momentum up with a 21-ball half-century. SRH however came back strong after that and overall, they gave just 36 runs and took five wickets in the last five overs.

Sooryavanshi fell three runs short of breaking Chris Gayle’s record for fatest-ever IPL century in an innings in which he broke yet another record that the West Indies legend had set just a year after Sooryavanshi’s birth. Sooryavanshi smashed as many as 12 sixes and five fours as he flew his way to a score of 97 in just 29 balls. In the process, his tally of sixes for the season ticked well past 59, thus breaking Chris Gayle’s long-standing record for most sixes in an IPL season.
