US Iran Israel War News LIVE: Israel and Lebanon have begun a fourth round of direct talks in Washington as diplomatic efforts continue alongside escalating tensions on the ground. According to Al Jazeera report, citing Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency, the fourth round of direct negotiations between Israel and Lebanon began at the US State Department in Washington shortly after the participating delegations arrived.
No response from Iran on US’s final proposal: Iran has not yet responded to a proposed final agreement with the United States aimed at ending the conflict between the two countries, and discussions on the final text are continuing in Tehran, news agency Reuters reported, citing Mehr News. Quoting a source close to the Iranian negotiating team, Mehr News reported that Iran was reviewing the proposal cautiously because of what it sees as a history of US non-compliance and longstanding mistrust.

Trump hits brake on Israel’s plan: US President Donald Trump on Monday said that Israel will not send troops to Lebanon after holding a call with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Trump further added that he also held a call with Hezbollah and that “they agreed that all shooting will stop.”
Netanyahu directs IDF to carry strikes on Lebanon’s Dahiyeh: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Israel Katz Monday said that they have instructed the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) to strike targets in Beirut’s Dahiyeh district. “Following the repeated violations of the ceasefire in Lebanon by the Hezbollah terror organization and the attacks against our cities and citizens, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Israel Katz instructed the IDF to strike terror targets in the Dahiyeh quarter of Beirut,” they say in a joint statement.
