US Iran Israel War News LIVE: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Iran has paid a “very heavy” price in the conflict and claimed its ruling system is “destined to fall”. In a post on X, Netanyahu said the cost borne by Iran during the conflict had been severe and argued that the foundations of what he called the Iranian regime’s “reign of terror” had been weakened. He claimed Iran “will never return to being what it was” and asserted that its leadership was ultimately “destined to fall”.
No response from Iran on US’s final proposal: Iran has not yet responded to a proposed final agreement with the United States aimed at ending the conflict between the two countries, and discussions on the final text are continuing in Tehran, news agency Reuters reported, citing Mehr News. Quoting a source close to the Iranian negotiating team, Mehr News reported that Iran was reviewing the proposal cautiously because of what it sees as a history of US non-compliance and longstanding mistrust.

Trump hits brake on Israel’s plan: US President Donald Trump on Monday said that Israel will not send troops to Lebanon after holding a call with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Trump further added that he also held a call with Hezbollah and that “they agreed that all shooting will stop.”
Iran’s central military command on Monday warned northern Israeli residents to “leave” if the offensive against Lebanon continues. Tehran had earlier said that it has stopped exchanges with the United States through its mediators over Israeli attacks on Lebanon, Reuters reported on Monday citing Iran’s Tasnim news agency .
Netanyahu directs IDF to carry strikes on Lebanon’s Dahiyeh: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Israel Katz said that they have instructed the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) to strike targets in Beirut’s Dahiyeh district. “Following the repeated violations of the ceasefire in Lebanon by the Hezbollah terror organization and the attacks against our cities and citizens, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Israel Katz instructed the IDF to strike terror targets in the Dahiyeh quarter of Beirut,” they say in a joint statement.
