US Iran War News LIVE: US President Donald Trump said Iran talks are “on the borderline” and warned the US is ready to act quickly if Tehran fails to give “100 per cent good answers”. “It’s right on the border line… believe me. If we don’t get the right answers, it goes very quickly. We are ready to go. We have to get the right answers. It would have to be complete 100 per cent good answers, and if we do, we save a lot of time, energy and lives,” he said while responding to a reporter’s question on Iran.
Tehran says surrender to US ‘an illusion’, diplomacy ‘wiser’ than war: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that “all paths” to pursue a diplomatic solution to the ongoing war “remain open” from their side, but “forcing Iran to surrender through coercion is nothing but an illusion”, Al Jazeera reported. Iran’s foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said exchanges of messages with the Trump’s administration are continuing based on Tehran’s 14-point proposal. Baghei also said that the United States must prove its goodwill by ending what Tehran describes as piracy against Iranian ships.

Iran’s fresh warning to US, Israel: Iran’s Revolutionary Guards issued a fresh warning to the United States and Israel on Wednesday (May 20), stating that the war will spread “far beyond region” if Washington and Tel Aviv resume attacks on the Islamic Republic. “If the aggression against Iran is repeated, the promised regional war will this time spread far beyond the region, and our devastating blows will crush you,” the Guards said in a statement on their website Sepah News.
