US-Iran War LIVE: US President Donald Trump said on Friday that Iran still has around “21 to 22 percent” of its missiles remaining, after Tehran launched dozens of missiles at regional targets during a week marked by a fragile ceasefire. Meanwhile, Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon on Saturday killed nine people, including three Lebanese military personnel, according to the Lebanese army and state media. The strikes came days after Israel and Lebanon agreed to a new ceasefire deal.
What has CENTCOM said? CENTCOM said US forces shot down four Iranian drones headed towards the Strait of Hormuz and later struck “coastal surveillance radar sites” in Goruk and on Qeshm Island. It also said Iran fired seven ballistic missiles towards Kuwait and Bahrain, of which six were intercepted while one failed to reach its target. The US said the drones posed a threat to shipping in the region.
