Captain Shai Hope’s 75 off 46 balls took them to a score of 165/6 after which Shamar Joseph took four wickets while Matthew Forde took three as Italy were all out for 123 runs.
Italy were clinical with the ball, particularly after the 10th over, and restricted the West Indies to a score of 165/6 batting first. It was their lowest score thus far in the tournament.
