US-Israel-Iran War News Live Updates: For the first time since the war broke out with US and Israel, Iran acknowledged the deaths of two of its soldiers. In a statement aired on State TV, Tehran said the soldiers will be laid to rest in a city outside the capital. Meanwhile, Israeli troops operating in the Ramim Ridge area of northern Israel close to the Lebanese border said the Army killed one person in an incident in which they returned fire. As per latest reports, the Israeli military has issued an evacuation warning for the port city of Tyre, including the Christian quarter, which has been spared so far.
US Army helicopter crashes near Strait of Hormuz: In a first, a United States Navy surface drone found and rescued two crew members from a US Army Apache attack helicopter that went down in waters near Oman’s coast, the US military told Reuters. The U.S. military’s Central Command said the AH-64 Apache went down at around 3 a.m. local time on Tuesday (2300 GMT on Monday) near the coast of Oman while patrolling regional waters. After the crash, President Donald Trump said the pilots were “fine”. A probe has been initiated into the crash.
UK government warns of action: The UK government said extremist violent settlers, backed by their supporters, continue to attack Palestinians and violate their human rights in the West Bank. In a joint statement with foreign ministers of Australia, Canada, France and Norway, the UK said it is prepared to take further measures if the Israeli government does not take urgent steps to address the situation on the ground.
